20/20 Focus On Sales


You Need Clients to Grow

Clients are the lifeblood of every business. Every business needs new clients to grow. When your focus is clear, and focused on building your client base, it's like reading or driving after Lasik surgery. You have 20/20 vision again.

Take the 20/20 Challenge to build your business now for a great quarter and a great year. Ten different challenges will be presented for discussion so you see how to apply each one for results in your unique situation.

1. Have a lottery for a free something. Give away one slot in a course, one coaching session, one consultation or demonstration for every 20 leads you collect.

2. Invite 20 guests to your next workshop, class, e-course, support group meeting.

3. Sell your product/service to 20 new clients.

4. Distribute enough business cards to get back 20 names and numbers (with permission to call).

5. Collect 20 referrals (or step it up – Get one or more referrals from each of your 20 best clients).

6. Invite satisfied clients to provide testimonials until you have 20 you can use in promotional materials.

7. Distribute 20 marketing survey cards.

8. Collect 20 evaluations from your courses/workshops/ seminars with names and numbers (and permission to call back).

9. Add 20 subscribers to your e-zine mailing list.

10. Attend 20 events where you can meet new people (aka prospects).

Granted, achieving 20 of some of these activities can be small potatoes. But, the object is to achieve 20 in each of these 10 challenges within a certain period of time (30 days, 90 days, 180 days).

Make up your own 20/20 challenge to get fully booked now or at any time you want to recharge your business. Try to do 20 of each kind. With 20, you will have mastered that tool and can reapply it any time you want to ramp up business again. When you complete 20 of each kind (at least 200 new leads), your sales pipeline will fill up with ideal prospects for you to close.
